We had an appointment with the audiologist this past Thursday afternoon. Caydyn did wonderful! His left ear has a lot of fluid while his right ear isn't too "bad". Both have fluid behind the eardrums though. The audiologist was GREAT with Caydyn...as Caydyn was very nervous and you could tell. He did GREAT though! =)
After the audiologist appointment, we went back to the E.N.T on Friday morning. After a long talk and the doctor going over the Xrays of Caydyn's adenoids...we have decided to put tubes in both Caydyn's ears and have his adenoids removed.
I really think his hearing, speech and overall behavior will improve greatly once the surgery is over!
Now for the game plan: wait for the nurse from the hospital to call us in the next 2-3 weeks to set everything up for surgery. We are also going to have ear plugs custom made to his ears. A bit pricey..but only the BEST for our lil man!

Sounds like you have a Great plan!! The custom ear plugs are GREAT btw. We had some made for James and they really are so much better during bathing and swimming than cotton or whatever. Easier on Mommies anyway :-)
